Experience
I am a 25 year old male with postgraduate training in Ecology and a love for transferring my knowledge and enthusiasm for science and the natural sciences to willing pupils. I have experience in the teaching field as I worked as a science communicator at Glasgow science centre in the year post graduation from the University of Glasgow. In the intervening years I have worked on ornithological research projects in locations such as the Netherlands, Florida and St. Helena Island and have recently returned from studying for an Msc in Sweden. I believe that the key to effective learning is to engage the pupil in the subject so that a natural enthusiasm and inquisitive nature develops. I am currently looking for a PhD in conservation biology that will also allow me to mentor younger students. I am keen to hear from anyone interested in private tuition in any of the biological sciences as well as geography and creative writing.
