I was also a student at the Junior Academy of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama during which I attained distinction in my Grade 8 Violin Exam.
Experience
I have done some class tutoring at high school where I mentored in a first year science class, especially helping the pupils in the class with disabilities. Tutoring is so rewarding when the pupil is beginning to understand the subject. Purely memorizing all the information you need for an exam might just get you through it but understanding the subject is the best way to approach an exam, and to further your understanding and knowledge of that subject. This is what I aim to achieve for a pupil, a full understanding of that subject. I will use examples and real world uses to help visualise fundamental concepts in the subject, using questions that highlight areas of weakness and explaining things in different ways until understood properly. I will also provide help with different methods of studying.I have also have been Disclosure Scotland checked through East Renfrewshire Council.
