Hello! I'm a twenty-one year old happily living in Glasgow :) I know from my own experience that sometimes maths may not come as easily to some as others, and that's okay! Sometimes you just need an extra friendly someone to point you down the right path and explain to you how things are done, be open to any questions you might have and help you build your confidence when dealing with maths. I am a very friendly girl and I can help students off all ages (from Grade 1 to adulthood) brush up on their numbers and technique, teach alongside the Scottish school circulumn (for school students), help with homework and assignments. I think it's also very important to make maths and learning fun, and think the reason why so many people do not think so favourably of maths is because they were not taught what a useful and important tool it is, and how it fits into everyday life. I have a vast experience in the teaching field including: -Running a after-school homework help group for students of all abilities in a local school - Vast one on one tutoring with children as young as five to adults as old as 67. - University level tutoring, particularly in the engineering and science fields. -Teaching monks in Chiang Rai, Thailand -Teaching children aged 4-15 at a Burmese Refugee Camp -Teaching hill tribe children in the Thai Jungle. -Tutoring in Melbourne, Australia and Roseville, California. I also run an online resource, where I will collect and upload material for your or your child so you/they have educational games and extra worksheets (for children) or extra carefully selected theory and questions (for older learners) Avaliable to work in the Greater Glasgow area.
