Experience
I have seven years of tutoring experience. I have taught 100+ students and have thousands of hours of teaching experience. Whether it be entrance exams, GCSEs, highers or university essay guidance, I have a track record of getting the best out of each student and helping them achieve their target grade or higher. I am a patient, dedicated and enthusiastic tutor. I believe in tailoring my teaching style to each student. I have worked with students with learning and processing difficulties as well as gifted students. I love learning and always aim to make every lesson enjoyable, information and to inspire a passion for the subject in my student. I have successfully helped students with 11+, 13+ and common entrance exams, gaining entry into some of the most prestigious schools in the UK. I am highly experienced at teaching English GCSE and A-level with all my students gaining their target grade or higher. Last academic exam year, the average grade achieved was a 7. I provide homework between lessons and marking outside of lesson time. I have experience working with university students on essay writing style and dissertation projects. In this capacity, I am able to help students with research, planning and execution.
