Experience
Hi, I'm Suki. I'm a writer who is passionate about language and literature. As a teacher, I hope to help you or your child use language in a way that will ecquip, empower and encourage. The lessons I offer include: -Learning English as a second language. I have a 120-Hour TEFL qualification and experience helping non-native speakers at all stages of their journey, from absolute beginners to academic or professional support for advanced speakers. -Academic support at a School, College or University level. I am a Masters level Graduate with a First in English Literature from The University of Glasgow. I have experience providing peer support and am keen to help younger learners get excited about literature, reading and critical engagement. -Creative Writing. As well as a Distinction MLitt in Creative Writing from The University of Glasgow, I am a published writer and poet with editorial experience. I believe creativity should be accessible to all, and am able to help native and non-native English speakers express themselves creatively. My teaching style is dependent on my student and their goals. My tutoring style provide additional support with an ongoing curriculum, but I am also experienced in lesson planning. I believe in transparent communication, and will provide regular feedback on your progress and encourage feedback on my lessons.

Hobbies
I love teaching English because I'm passionate about language and art, and because I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. I used to travel a lot, and I am currently learning to speak Mandarin Chinese. I have two cats who Iove to spend time with - their names are Morpheus and Neo, in tribute to one of my favourite movies.
