I have recently graduated from the political science Master's programme at the Central European University, Budapest. Here I studied a broad range of critical political science theories, gaining an expert certificate in comparative European politics and quantitative methods. My undergraduate degree from the University of Glasgow was an economic and social history major with a politics minor. This makes me well equipped to tutor political science of any level.
Experience
I am a certified TEFL teacher with three years full-time teaching experience. I taught for two years in Shanghai, first in a language center for children aged 3-18 and then in a bilingual kindergarten. In Shanghai I also tutored private students in English language and literature. Thereafter, I taught in Spain where I focused on exam preparation as well as adult learners. I can therefore teach all ages and abilities effectively no matter whether you are learning for fun or exams. As well as English I am also very knowledgeable about politics and history, having just graduated from a Master's degree in Budapest.

Hi prospective student, My name is Claire and I am an experienced teacher. I love to travel and meet new people. I have recently returned to Scotland after several years living abroad in China, Spain and Hungary. In my free time, I enjoy learning new languages, singing in a choir and volunteering. I am very flexible in my teaching approach, preferring to tailor my classes to my student's needs and interests. I think that everything should be fun and I bring that approach to my teaching!
